What is Stainless Steel 304L Plate?

Stainless Steel 304L Plate is a lower carbon version of the austenitic 304 grade. The lower carbon content in this plate eliminates graining and carbon precipitation after the welding process. The chromium-nickel austenitic grade is a corrosion-resistant alloy that is well suited for a range of high-temperature and pressure systems. The plate is non-magnetic in the annealed condition but becomes magnetic after cold rolling or welding procedures.

• AISI 304L Strips are metal components that are sheared from a coil. These strips are shaped in a range of sizes and shapes. Strips are designed with a width of less than 600mm.
