What is Duplex Plate?
Duplex Plate are a microstructure of ferritic and austenitic grade compounds. These plates are designed to have superior resistance against corrosion and oxidation, allowing them to be utilized across different environments. The plates possess outstanding toughness and exhibit superior ductility. The components exhibit superb strength and crack resistance compared to normal austenitic grades. Duplex plates are designed in sizes above 6mm and can be welded easily. These components are a preferred choice in applications requiring high strengths and durability due to harsh or stress-induced conditions.
What is Duplex Sheet?
Duplex Sheet are metal components that are employed in building different structures that require low levels of durability. Designed with sizes less than 6mm, these sheets are aimed at reducing the weight of the application. The dual microstructure contained within these modules allows them to exhibit outstanding strength and properties, making them stronger than most austenitic grades. They are designed with superior resistance against stress corrosion cracking. The sheets in this range can be corrugated or diamonded to create ridges in the modules. The ridges don’t add extra weight to the component but; help in giving it added strengths.
